| How to do it |
- Register for CIS 100
- Inform your instructor early in the term that you plan to test out
- Take the test (details below)
Note: if you take the test early in the term, you have a better chance of making up in class any areas you do poorly on
- Inform instructor when you have finished all six parts of the test

- Inform any full-time CIS 100 instructor that you would like Credit by Exam
- Fill in the Credit by Exam form and take it to the cashier in the Student Center Building
- Pay the fee and have the form stamped
- Take the test (details below)
- Return the Credit by Exam form to the instructor when you have finished all six parts of the test
